About JP The Beeman

JP the Bee Man is Jeff Armstrong from Metairie, Louisiana, a man who built his life around bees long before most people ever thought twice about them.

He grew up in Metairie, graduated from St. Martin’s Episcopal, and later earned his degree from Louisiana State University.

He’s a licensed pest control operator, a registered beekeeper in Louisiana, and someone who stepped into the pest control field back in 1990.

That same year, he handled his very first bee removal on Highway Drive in Jefferson, and that moment set the course for everything that followed.

His bee work is operated through his company, JP the Beeman LLC. That business runs on a simple belief. Honey bees deserve protection and not destruction.

When honey bees end up in places where people can’t live safely alongside them, JP sees the situation as an opportunity to save a colony rather than eliminate it.

The bee removal work focuses on humane, efficient recovery and relocation, giving each colony a second chance at life in apiaries run by Jeff and trusted beekeeping friends.
